Club Training Sessions
At 1485 Triathlon Club, we ensure we cater for all abilities at every session we host. We have dedicated coaches for our cycling, running and swimming sessions to tailor the training to individuals needs of our athletes.
We aim to support all our members, new and experienced.
Our main Cycling Sessions take place every Tuesday Evenings 6:30pm and Saturday Mornings 9:30am, both meeting at Market Bosworth Sports Club. These sessions are led by our experienced coach, Steve Robinson, reknowned triathlete within the local area.
Our Swimming Sessions through Winter take place on Thursday evenings at Desford school at 7:15pm. For each session, the lanes are allocated a lead who will tailor a training session to suit the abilities of the athletes attending.
Our Running Sessions, these take place mainly on Sunday mornings, these are organised by a variety of members, Jane Farmer, Mark Frost, Sadie Walker to name but a few, with support from our Run Leader Dave Lawrie. Once again, the sessions are always tailored to suit those attending.
As a Club, our principle goal is that 'No one gets left behind'.
For our more developed members, we have specific training sessions to also aid their training and performance. Whilst also looking at nutrition and bike maintenance, and any other aspects that are sometimes forgotten when being part of a multi sports club.
