Barry JACKSON, L2 COACH

Running since first ever GNR in 1981, took up Triathlon in 2014 to do first ever Newcastle Triathlon....which was cancelled!
Represented GB Age Group 60-64 at Chicago ITU World Championships in 2015, the most amazing experience ever.  Started coaching voluntarily for the club after this because I wanted to help others have the chance to experience this for themselves.
Completed Level 2 Coaching course whilst recovering form a cycle crash whilst competing in the Stockton Duathlon 2017, which also prevented me competing at the Dusseldorf European Championships.  Now getting back to full fitness I am juggling coaching and competing.... hopefully at GB Level once again.
