A bit of an update, which I did hope to get around to do after the committee meeting on Wednesday however time got the better of me. Firstly, just to let you all know that we have appointed a Covid Officer and a few assistants have also offered to help out.

This is a key step to managing the risks as we go forward and needed to be in place before we could start any formal coached training session. Planning is still ongoing for return to some activities with the pool being an area that we are now looking at more closely.

Many of you would have seen that the pool opened to the public last week and some of you may know that the Blandford Flyers are planning a return to the pool next week.

We are still planning for a return in September and I’m in contact with the leisure centre, coaching staff and now with the Covid Officer to work out the practicalities.
