From 1st January 2021 the club achieved affiliation with British Triathlon. 

British Triathlon membership provides us with public liability cover as well as committee member cover.  Individuals can also get a £2.50 discount on basic membership, which provides individual insurance for British Triathlon events.  As a club we also receive support from British Triathlon's Regional Manager, use of their logo and the ability to involve the wider local community with organised events.

Steeple Chasers Running and Cycling Club falls under the category of a ‘community club’ as it is a not-for-profit organisation with less than 150 members.
