Steeple Chasers Running & Cycling Club started in February 2020 - it has  grown from a first village Facebook post enquiring whether anyone would be interested in doing the Couch to 5km  course to a rapidly growing community club with over 100 members! 

Established by Chair and head coach Victoria Bovill-Lamb, in the first year the club has achieved British Triathlon affiliation, has organised a number of events alongside raising money for the local community. During 2020 we have also responded to the Covid-19 restrictions with creativity, vigour and a determination to embrace positivity at a time of national crisis.

The 19th November 2020 saw Victoria thanked very publicly on  BBC'sThe One Show! Our club members are all very proud of what she has achieved in a short time and recognition from the BBC is well deserved. 

We look forward to celebrating the second year of our club with lots of events organised and, most of all, we will continue to have fun!
