About the course

Coach: John Moloney

Strength and Conditioning Session for Triathlon will focus on the following areas: • Functional Movement Training (exercises that mimic and strengthen swim, bike and run movements) • Core Strength • Single and double leg strength • Upper body strength and mobility (particular emphasis on swim and cycling muscle groups) • Balance and proprioception (ensuring that you are recruiting the correct muscles and joints) • Plyometrics (explosive movements but only after the initial introductory base build period) The sessions will be stand alone, however we will build week on week to ensure that those that committed from the beginning will start the 2022 season feeling strong, efficient and injury free. Please bring some hand sanitiser, a yoga mat, towel and hydration. The session is from 7.45pm to 8.45pm on Thursday evenings at the Dance Studio at Frome College.
