Welcome to Monifieth Triathlon Club (though you may well know us by our nickname – M3)

Formed in January of 2010, we have grown from half a dozen ‘would be triathletes’ to a fully diverse membership of approximately 100 people. As the name suggests, we are based in Monifieth, near Dundee in Scotland and benefit from the excellent training and racing facilities on offer in Angus, Dundee, Perthshire and Fife.

The club is fully affiliated to the national governing body for triathlon in Scotland, ‘triathlonscotland’ and were the proud holders of the prestigious ‘Club of the Year’ award picked up in only our first year. We have lots of ideas for the future but at the very top of our development plan we place a big emphasis on being an exceptionally friendly club catering for triathletes of all levels and abilities including juniors.

As part of our development we have focused on the provision of triathlon specific coaching staff and already have multiple coaches across BTF level 1, 2 & 3. This coaching network allows us to promote the sport at a local level and more importantly offer training in all three disciplines.
