Our Spring Duathlon is scheduled for Sunday 16th April 2023. Whether it’s to race your first duathlon, enjoy the scenery, see if you can beat your Spring Duathlon time or to win, just click on the link below to enter this iconic end of season event.

The Great Notley Spring Duathlon is based at Great Notley Country Park in Braintree, with the attraction of a beautiful parkland venue but very accessible with good road links from the A120 and A131.

The race starts and finishes with a 4km run within the confines of the country park. You will run on a mixture of grass and surfaced paths, with a challenging hill included in the run. The transition to the cycle section is on a grass area adjacent to the access road. The cycle course is all ‘on road’, consisting of two 10km laps offering a fast but enjoyable ride through Rayne, Willows Green and Great Leighs before returning to the centre for the final run. The manageable distances and traffic free run course makes it an ideal race for novices.
