HISTORY

Lichfield and Burntwood Triathlon Club was formed in the 1990s by Mark Wheeler and a group of like minded triathletes in the Burntwood area of Staffordshire. The original Club name was ‘Wheelers Phew!’

As the Club grew its name was changed to Burntwood Triathlon Club in about 2004, and to Lichfield and Burntwood Triathlon Club in 2022.

The club is accredited Bronze by British Triathlon. 

Club membership currently sits around 30 members. The club is run by a small voluntary committee who are elected annually each year at the AGM.
