Each week we are delighted to be able to offer swim, bike and run training sessions to help develop you as a triathlete. Each session is led by our fully qualified coaching team who strive to ensure you are given the instruction, encouragement and analysis to strengthen your body and mind throughout each discipline of the sport.

Castle Tri was founded as a friendly and accommodating Tri club, and we continue to focus this as the ethos of our club. We would encourage anyone looking to get in to triathlon to come along to our sessions and give them a try, we even offer your first session as a free one!

Run Sessions

Our coached run sessions take place at Regents Drive, Low Prudhoe Industrial estate, where we utilise a 400m road track. This means all of our run sessions are open to all as you can run the session at your pace, you won’t be left behind at any point. Our run sessions focus on different elements of running each week to maximise your gains, take a look at the calendar to see what each run session will focus on.

Swim Sessions

Our coached swim sessions take place at Prudhoe Waterworld. Due to the popularity of our swim sessions we have now expanded across two sessions. at 19:00 we have three lanes and at 20:00 we have all four lanes for Castle Tri swimmers. If you would like to attend our swim sessions you will be warmly welcomed, we just ask you email us at so we can let the coaches know to be expecting you.

Bike Sessions

This winter has seen us introduce weekly spin sessions at Prudhoe Waterworld to help our triathletes maintain their bike fitness. These sessions will continue until April, and to book a bike just click the session on the training calendar and select signup. We will also be arranging club rides throughout the year which will be advertised on the calendar and on our Facebook page.
