The training program is typically as follows but can vary from year to year. Any additional training or changes to training will be advertised on the members Facebook page.
 

ALL TRAINING SESSIONS ARE FOR CLUB MEMBERS ONLY & MUST BE BOOKED THROUGH CLUBSPARK.

Adult members wishing to participate in the swimming sessions must be able to swim 4 lengths of continuous front crawl. By booking into a session adult members are declaring themselves fit to take part in the session. If you have a medical condition or special needs it is your responsibility to highlight this to the coach(es).

Training

• Monday nights - a block of junior cycling sessions at Duchess High School Carpark 6.30pm for 6.45pm start
• Tuesday nights - adult coached swim  at Willowburn 6.15pm - 7.15pm.
• Tuesday nights – junior coached swim at Willowburn 7.15pm - 8.15pm.
• Thursday nights - open water swimming at Ladyburn Lake 6.45pm for 7pm start.
• Friday mornings– adult uncoached swim lanes available at Willowburn, 7.15am - 8.15am. Juniors aged 14 and over may swim in these sessions if a parent or guardian is present to supervise them.
• Sunday mornings– social bike ride with Alnwick Cycling Club leaving Willowburn at 9am.  2 or 3 groups based on ability & goals.
• Sunday afternoons - junior coached swim at Willowburn  3.45pm - 4.45pm.
• Sunday afternoons - adult coached swim at Willowburn 4.45pm - 5.45pm.
