Natalie George.    Level 1 BTF Coach

In 2010 I completed my first triathlon a super sprint that I did for charity and my triathlon journey developed from there. I’m not a natural triathlete and have to work hard at all three disciplines but over time my confidence and belief in my abilities has grown from sprints, to Olympic distance, half ironman and then finally to an ironman. In 2019 I become a Level 1 BTF triathlon coach, it’s been so rewarding to see club members grown in their ability and confidence. It’s been great to be involved in FTC as a coach and see the club grow and the achievements of its members.

Competed in all distances from Super Sprint to Ironman Distance, have been Membership Secretary, Chairperson and Event organiser for the illustrious Frome Sprint Triathlon & Tristars over many years.

All I know is I love Triathlon and love this Club, it's been a big part of my life and has sculpted me to be the Coach I am today.

My first triathlon was in Midsomer Norton eleven years ago, when I didn’t even have my own bike! I borrowed a friend’s bike to do some training, but whilst training I got hit by a car. Despite that, I was hooked. I love the feeling afterwards when I know I’ve done well! I forgot my race shoes for one event, so I ran and cycled in my trainers. I ripped the trainers and my feet to shreds, but I did still manage to finish the event. The mental aspect is so important – you have to believe that you can do it.

The wise old sage ;-)

John Moloney. BTF Level 2 Diploma

Competing for the thrill and fun of it across all distances. Caught the triathlon bug 12+ years ago and have loved it ever since. I started off at the back and I’m slowly working my way forward! My motto: ‘If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing with a smile!

I have plenty of age group experience and advice to share with those interested enough to listen. :-)

3 x Ironman Finisher (Wales, Nice and Bolton)

9 x 70.3 Finisher (IM Wimbleball x2, Wales Triathlon x2, Immortal x1, Weymouth x4)

Countless standard and sprint distance races.
