Hi and welcome to Frome Tri Club!

My name is Jess and I have been a member of FTC on and off since 2016. I was first introduced to triathlon in 2001 when my dad, Nic, did Ironman Lanzarote for the first of what would be many times. This inspired me to complete Ironman Lanzarote with him in 2017 (I chose this as my first tri, which some still call me crazy for!). I now compete in triathlons of any distance, full Ironman down to sprints, which I enjoy doing with the club. I look forward to meeting you!

Hayley Willis - Membership Secretary

Coming from an equestrian background,  Hayley has decided to take on the challenge of triathlon.

She is really looking forward to her first race in June 2023 and is looking forward to the challenge of Weynmouth 70.3!

Before triathlon my sporting background was darts.  I couldn't run more than 1km and couldn't swim more that 100 metres but that's where our club coaches can help.  I started training with FTC towards the end of 2019, but due to COVID I didn't manage to compete until September 2021.   I completed the Weymouth 70.3 Ironman September 2023.
