The 2022 Bayside AGM was held on 4th March at Stokes Bay Sailing Club.

It was a great opportunity for Baysiders to get together in person after the last AGM was held virtually via Zoom due to Covid restrcitions.  The Chair, Treasurer and Discipline Captains gave their reports, and after reflecting on the past year the new Committee was elected. 

A full calendar of Bayside events was announced for 2022, including 3 GOTRI events, the Bayside Autumn Duathlon and a series of Members' TT Duathlons:

• Go Tri Aquathlon – Date TBC - Gosport Leisure Centre

• Go Tri Sea Swim Triathlon - Sunday 26th June – Stokes Bay Sailing Club

• Go Tri Triathlon – Sunday 25th September – Gosport Leisure Centre

• Bayside Autumn Duathlon – Sunday 6th November - Bayside Cabin, Stokes Bay

• Club Members' TT Duathlons – Wednesday 4th May, Wednesday 13th July, Wednesday 17th August - GAFIRS, Stokes Bay

Having previously been presented with awards for the Bayside Autumn Duathlon and our GOTRIs, we are very much looking forward to hosting these events again.

At the end of the meeting it was agreed unanimously that the Club would donate to £500 to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. This amount will then be matched by the UK government.
