Triathlon Scotland have just announced that the Nairn Triathlon is the winner of the  2022 'Event of the Year' 

This was the first time the event involved an open water swim on Nairn beach, known informally as the Brighton of the North. The weather held up for the swim, cycle and run, which was appreciated by the athletes.  Great support and lots of catering and goodies helped to sustain and refresh the athletes. As Triathlon Scotland noted, 

"Several first time competitors commented on how they enjoyed the experience, appreciated the friendly and encouraging marshals and were looking forward to their next event."

Well done to the team of volunteers who helped make this event such a great experience.
