Another action packed weekend of races and success for some of our club members.

Anne Walton who took part in the European Triathlon Championships, Madrid finished 6th in her age group with a great time of 02:53:46.

Closer to home, Claire Armstrong entered Grafman Middle Distance Aquabike - 1900m swim, followed by a 90k bike which Claire successfully finished 3rd female overall and 1st in age group in 03:18:06.

Continuing the regular sportives that seem to be popular at the moment with some of our club members, Chris Edmundson Harris entered the Tour of Cambridge Sportive (100) a flat and fast route on closed and traffics free roads.

Known to be one of the toughest half marathons in the UK, Karl Hunt & Darren Joint tackled this challenging mountainous terrain which includes one of Snowdonia’s iconic summits, Cadair Idris.

Cadair X Half Marathon route provides some tranquil views of the wooden gorge, the weather helped play a huge part in making the day enjoyable for both running across the open mountain top scenery.
