More great racing this weekend from our club members Karl, Ashley, Claudette & Darren who completed the Thames Marathon, an endurance swim, that’s approximately 13km (including stops) between Henley-on-Thames and Marlow.

Closer to home, Newark Half Marathon took place. Graham ran the half marathon distance and managed a personal best time of 01:50 which knocked a huge 7 minutes off his previous PB earlier in May this year.

On Sunday, Sleaford Striders held their Summer 10k race which Steve, Esther & Ruth took part. All finishers received a medal and apparently for some more than one slice of cake!
