Weekly training


Our sessions are structured in an annual training plan, which is developed by the coaching team to reflect the club races. Athletes racing at any distance can use these sessions to supplement their training needs. The annual training plan is updated quarterly to allow coaches to plan for upcoming events and can be downloaded here: ANNUAL TRAINING PLAN

At each session there will be a qualified coach ready to support you and guide through fun and challenging training sessions. Please don’t worry if you feel ‘not good enough’ or decide to ‘get fit before you come along’, that’s what our coaches and sessions are here to help you with along with helping achieve your personal goals. 

You will also find a whole mix of other members – our members cover just about every ability, experience, age etc there are athletes there for the first time, seasoned ironman athletes, people coming back off injury , age groupers training for European or World champs and those simply there for the social and to meet likeminded people.

Our sessions aim to include a mix of technique, endurance and higher intensity work, this balance varies from session to session as well as the yearly calendar. If you are new to the club your first session is free – come along and try a session before you decide to join.
