Q: Can under 18's join the club
A: Not at this stage because to do so requires safeguarding measures to be in place which we currently do not have th resources to provide. We hope to be able to do this in future.
Q: Do I have to do all 3 sports?
A: No, it is common for members of tri clubs to pick and choose which sports they take part in.
Q: How are membership fees spent?
A: Our costs are: BTF affiliation fees (£155 for 2021), first aid courses for coaches, training of new coaches to extend offering, admin/stationery. Our treasurer provides an annual report of expenditure at the AGM.
Q: Who makes up the committee?
A: Paul McIntyre (Chair and Head Coach), Neil Timperley (Club Treasurer), Kim Heyes (Club Secretary). We would like to grow the committee to enable succession planning so do get in touch with a committee member if you are interested in this.
Q: I'm not sure if triathlon/this club is for me. Can I try your club out to see if I like it first?
A: Yes, try the club out for a month to decide if you like it before joining to obtain the full member benefits.
Q: Does the club membership fee include membership to BTF?
A: No this is a seperate cost?
