Malvern Triathlon Club training update for w/c 2 Oct 2023


We are back on it, with Spin, Running, Swimming  and Strength & Conditioning on this week.

Monday SPIN 

Team JA's 'Spin & Tonic' starts on Monday, 7:10pm in Malvern Splash Spin Studio for a 10 week block. This block has been designed to complement your winter base training with some tempo work and surges. We are starting with a power test, so bring fresh legs 😄 FULLY BOOKED BUT ANY SPARE PLACES WILL BE ADVERTISED!

Tuesday RUN 

Meet Coach Bill in Link Top car park at 7:15pm for session 5 of this block of run training. We will be working on strength and cadence, learning to run strongly uphill and make the downhills flow! These are inclusive sessions with all abilities and speeds catered for. NOW FREE FOR MEMBERS, BUT PLEASE BOOK IN SO WE KNOW WHO IS COMING 

Wednesday SWIM

The pool is booked and Coaches Lorraine and Jayne are back poolside at Malvern Splash on Wed, toes in at 7pm. We have some individual technique observation and tips, and some solid endurance base training sets for you which will help you build up from whatever your current swim base is. BLOCK BOOKING IS OPEN!

Thursday S&C 

Our excellent online Strength & Conditioning classes with Coach Bill are live via Zoom. There is are early bird 30 min sessions at 6:30am on Mon, Tues, Thu and Fri this week and an evening 45 min session at 18:00 on Thursday. These sessions are great for building triathlon-specific strength and preventing injury 💪 Join the Running and S&C WhatsApp group for the Zoom link, the latest scheduling details and more info on each class.
