Malvern Triathlon Club training update for w/c  9 Dec 2024

Monday Spin, Tuesday Run and Wed Swim Training continue this week! And it's the Monthly 5/10k Christmas edition on Sunday πŸŽ…πŸŽ„Early morning S&C Zoom classes are live via Zoom and being recorded and made available 'on demand'!

Monday SPIN  - reaches its conclusion this week @7.10pm at Malvern Splash. It's the end of block power test with Coach Jayne. The class currently has one space available.

Tuesday RUN - week 7 of the block with Coach Bill. Please note the start time is 7.15pm and the meeting point Link Top car park. The session plan is inspired by the book 'Peak' by Anders Ericsson and Robert Pool and seeks to gain performance improvement by deliberate practice. Intrigued? Join Bill on Tuesday to find out more!

Wednesday SWIM  - Toes in 7pm @ Malvern Splash with Coaches Henry and Dave. It's time to get working on that swim technique and endurance. Spaces are available to join the squad this week 🏊‍♀️ πŸ’š

Strength & Conditioning  -  is on with Coach Bill this week live via Zoom - early bird sessions at 6.30am will be held Mon to Fri  πŸ’ͺ🏻 AND we are now also recording the sessions so that you can use them to complement your training at any time of the day 😊 If there is anything that you do not understand please ask Bill and he will help. We want you to do the exercises correctly as you will not gain their full benefit  unless they are done precisely.  Bill is also more than happy for you to do the sessions with him face to face by joining him in his studio at 6:30 in the morning! Details are all in the S&C WhatsApp group.

Monthly 5/10k social run - the special Christmas edition is on this week with Coach Lorraine. Meet 9.30am at the Malvern Active car park on Woodshears Road and make sure you are familiar with the route. Christmas attire encouraged! πŸŽ… πŸŽ„ Brunch/coffee after at Altura Lounge.

Don't forget to save the dates for the forthcoming monthly 5/10k runs too: 19 January, 16 February, 16 March.

Stouport Cycling Track - has been booked for 6 and 13 April 2025 from 10am-12 noon. These will be two different coached sessions combining a mix of  cycling skills and transition skills with some racing.
