Malvern Triathlon Club training update for w/c 7 Oct 2024
Spin restarts this week, Tuesday Run Training is on, and we have a full program of S&C! Don't forget to save the dates for the Monthly 5/10k runs and the Stouport track sessions 👍🏻

Monday SPIN - resumes this week 7.10pm at Malvern Splash with Coaches Jan and Jayne. The class is currently fully booked, but any spare places will be advertised on the club's WhatsApp community.
Tuesday RUN - it's week 6 of the block - meet 6.30pm in the car park behind the Unicorn with Coach Nick.
Introducing ‘Praying to St Ann’, we’ll be working on our hill fitness across 8 weeks.
Week 1 will be all about setting a benchmark for the block and we’ll head to a well known location which includes numerous steps… then Weeks 2-7 the meeting point will be the car park behind The Unicorn pub and we’ll be training on the St Ann’s Well track. Finally Week 8 will be back to Peachfield Common for a repeat of Week 1 and to measure our improvements!
Wednesday SWIM - due to delayed completion of the building work at the Splash, swim training has been rescheduled and is now planned to resume on 30 October with Coaches Henry and Dave.
Strength & Conditioning - is on with Coach Bill this week live via Zoom. Early bird sessions at 6.30am will be held Mon to Fri this week, aimed at building strength and preventing injury 💪🏻
Monthly 5/10k runs - will be held on the following Sunday dates at 9.30am with Coach Lorraine: 20 October, 17 Novenber, 15 December, 19 January, 16 February*, 16 March*
*Provisional dates tbc once Tewkesbury aquathlon dates are known, Reserve date for both will be 9th of the month.
Stouport Cycling Track - has been booked for 6 and 13 April 2025 from 10am-12 noon. These will be two different coached sessions combining a mix of cycling skills and transition skills with some racing.
