Refunds after a session is booked

When a member books a session on ClubSpark, a handling fee is applied. A small percentage is taken by the card handler, meaning the Club received less than £5 per session.

When a refund is issued, the Club will be charged a handling fee for the initial payment and another handling fee for the refund, meaning that the Club will be charged money, even when you are refunded for the session. Whilst these fees are small, the Club does not make money, so this represents a financial challenge.

  • If the Club cancels a session due to loss of instructor or non-availability of the venue, a full refund will be given to all participants booked onto the session.
  • If a Club member cancels with >24 hours notice a full refund will be given if requested.
  • A member will be entitled to 3 refunded sessions per quarter, after this a refund will not be given due to the card handling costs.
  • If a Club members cancels with <24 hours notice no refund will be given.
