On Friday night we hosted our annual awards evening at Herriots. To celebrate the 2023 season. 

We started the evening by celebrating out juniors as 5 of our athletes have been selected for the Yorkshire Trialthon squad.  And also our age group althletes selected to represent GB.  Something as a club we are super proud of them all.

Winter Series- a number of events over distance in swim, bike and run in the off season 

Ladies Winner- Helen Open Winner- Shane

5 Events- Rich, Pete, Trevor, Robin and Katy 

CLUB CUP: The Ilkley trialthon race serves as our club cup race

 The overall winners being Megan and Mark. 

YF-Megan, SM- Joe, SF-Roshan, V40F- Helen, V40M-Mark, V50M- David, V60M-Mike, V70M-Adrain 

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: is a series of races that can socre points and can be suplemented with 2 wildcard races.

The overall winners were Megan and Peter S 

YF-Megan, YM- Oli, SF-Alison, SM-Joe, V40F-Helen, V40M-Mark, V50F-Katie, V50M-Peter S, V60F- Carol, V60M-Harry, V70 Adrain 

Within the club championships there are some additional awards these are:

Sprint Queen- Megan, Sprint King-Oli, Most KM -Pete W, Category Points -Megan 

Matt Green Award: In memory of our fomer member Matt this award is voted for by members- this was won by Nick 

Coaches Award: chosen by the coaches these were awarded to  Nick an Jo 

Comittee Award: chosen by the comittee these were awarded to Adrain and Tracy 

Special Recognition Award- Alison and Peter W - both of them competed in Ironman Bolton which allowed them to secure a place and completed in the Ironman world championships (a first for any craven energy athlete)
