About the course

Coach: Jo Watkinson

A coached swimming session in the outdoor pool at Everyone Active Hemel Hempstead. We will be working on improving your technique, endurance and speed in your wetsuit. The pool temperature will be 18 degrees or higher but the air temperature can be low. By signing up you agree to: 1. Bring and wear a wetsuit unless given explicit permission not to by the lead coach 2. Bring warm clothes including a hat to wear after the session to reduce the risk of after drop. 3. Notify the lead coach of any medical conditions that may be made worse by cold temperatures including Raynauds, high or low blood pressure, or heart attack risk 4. Follow all lead coach instructions, including how to enter the pool to minimise cold water shock. 5. Familiarise yourself with the symptoms of hypothermia, cold water shock and after drop.
