Become a coach

Become a coach

Being a coach is a rewarding and fun. You can develop yourself as a person, give something back to the club and take some pride from members progressing under your guidance.

The club allocates funds to training and developing coaches each year.

As a thank you the club also provides honorary membership and the cost of your required British Triathlon Federation membership to qualified coaches and activators.

If you’d like to take up coaching we’d love you to join up.

Read more about becoming a triathlon coach on the British Triathlon Federation website.

We will expect you to demonstrate commitment first through a period of shadowing the existing coaches before doing your course and by meeting half the costs up front.

Your contribution will be reimbursed in full after you have done 15 hours of post qualification coaching with the club.
