Best performance (women)
Emma Broadhurst
For her performances at Challenge Wales and Ironman Tenby. She smashed each discipline at Challenge Wales, finishing in 5:50 and taking second age group place. At Ironman Tenby she finished a brutal course in terrible weather conditions when many couldn’t. Emma also was 30th woman, and 6th age group at the British sprint tri championships and she took a third age group sprint triathlon place at the world qualifying event at Cardiff.
Charl Clayton
Charl has proven that she is one of the toughest, if not the toughest, participants out there. If tackling the headwinds and hills of Challenge Wales 70.3 was not enough to prove this, she also got to ring the first time Ironman bell at the end of the red carpet at Ironman Italy. Charl Clayton for her dedication and determination in completing her goal of completing Ironman Italy despite various injury niggles and problems along the way. A great job well done.

Mark Hatton and Michelle Marshall
Mark and Michelle have done a sterling job as club captains throughout the year. They organised the teams for the Cholmondeley relays, making this a memorable occasion for the 36 club members who formed the nine teams. They also organise the club’s cross-country teams, cajoling and encouraging everyone to come along and join the fun. Mark has also work hard designing the new red club kit and jazzing up the black kit and Michelle has been busy working with Charl organising the annual club awards night, last year and also this year.
Charl Clayton
Charl has been a driving force of the club behind the scenes as membership secretary. She looks after new members and organises the systems in the background that keep the club running smoothly, we would be lost without her. She’s also put lots of effort and time into organising the annual club awards night, last year and this year. It wouldn’t happen without her.
